BankPDFtoXLS is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by E*TRADE from Morgan Stanley. The name "E*TRADE from Morgan Stanley" is used only to describe compatibility with statements you have legally obtained from your own account. See our trademarks policy.

No statement handy? to see the reconciled output first. Nothing is uploaded.

How to download your E*TRADE statement PDF

  1. Sign in to E*TRADE from Morgan Stanley online banking on a desktop browser. Mobile apps often show only a preview.
  2. Open the account and look for Statements (some banks label it Statements & Documents or eStatements).
  3. Pick the month and use the download button to save the PDF. Printing the page to PDF instead can scramble the text layer.

Menu labels change from time to time. If you can't find them, search the bank's help pages for "statements".

Statement PDF or the CSV activity export?

Most banks, E*TRADE included, also let you export recent account activity as CSV. That file is fine for a quick look, but it usually covers a limited date range, leaves out the statement's beginning and ending balance, and isn't the official record, so nothing in it can be reconciled. If you need a record that holds up (taxes, a loan file, divorce discovery, a bookkeeping catch-up), convert the statement PDF above. Every row is checked against the printed balances.

How the E*TRADE conversion works

  1. 1. Drop your E*TRADE from Morgan Stanley PDF — digital or scanned, monthly statement or a combined multi-month export, up to 50 MB (or batch up to 25 files). Password-protected PDFs and image-only scans both work: scans go through vision OCR automatically.
  2. 2. Parse & reconcile — every transaction is extracted and the sum is checked against ending balance minus beginning balance within $0.01.
  3. 3. Download XLSX, CSV, or QBO — one click each, or batch up to 10 statements and download them as a single ZIP.

E*TRADE conversion FAQ

Is my E*TRADE statement stored on your servers?
No — the PDF is parsed in memory and never persisted. Only the extracted JSON is kept for your account history, and even that respects a 24-hour retention default.
What does the "Verified" badge mean?
Every export is reconciled: the sum of transaction amounts must match (ending − beginning) within $0.01. If it doesn't, you see an honest "failed" status instead of a silently broken export.
Do password-protected E*TRADE statements work?
Yes — the upload prompts for a password and decrypts the PDF in memory during parsing.
Can I upload several E*TRADE statements at once?
Drop up to 10 PDFs in one batch. Each runs through the queue with its own status row, then a single ZIP download packages all converted files in XLSX, CSV, or QBO.
